On May 16, 2023, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Utilities Service (RUS) announced $10.7 billion in federal funding for America’s rural communities to advance clean energy opportunities. This is the largest federal investment in rural electric infrastructure since 1936. Today’s Power, Inc.’s (TPI) President and CEO, Derek Dyson, was requested by RUS to attend the announcement held at the White House. TPI and RUS have partnered throughout rural America to install renewable energy generation and battery storage. TPI’s Dyson committed to the RUS Administrator that “TPI looks forward to continuing to work with RUS and rural communities, especially Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas, TPI’s parent company, to promote continued investment in clean energy options for rural America utilizing the programs announced by RUS.
